An important decision

Choosing a Driving school is not a decision which should be taken lightly. Selecting a school with high standards will affect your confidence when you do pass your test, not to mention the lower cost of requiring fewer lessons. Things to watch out for include introductory offers. Please, don't be fooled by schools which offer a low starting rate and then force you to sign up to a large number of extortionate lessons. With these thoughts in mind we encourage you to seek advise where necessary and peruse the comments on this page, which are from some of our past pupils, at your leisure.

"I passed my driving test less than an hour ago and couldn't believe it! I remember the first lesson, I couldn't even shift from first to second gear! The gradual build-up and the knowledge Carl taught me when driving has become invaluable experience; the constant reminders of faults and little catchphrases such as, "less space means less speed", meant that when it came to test day, I was unknowingly fully prepared.

"I passed at my second attempt. The fail at my first one was all because of my nerves and nothing to do with Carl. Guess what though Carl helped me master that too. My second attempt was a piece of cake. Carl is a tutoring genius. I definately recommend him to everybody. A friend of mine that had just passed his test thanx to Carl suggested I start with crossroads. I regret losing about £600 to my previous instructor who taught me nearly nothing because with Carl I learnt everthing I needed to know with nearly half the money I paid to ma prev instr'... "I passed my driving test FIRST time with tuition from my Crossroads School of Motoring instructor!

I was a very nervous driver to begin with but I was made to feel very much at ease by my instructor. He was very patient and took his time to explain how to do different skills and manoeuvres using diagrams.

My instructor was always on-time to collect me for my lessons and was flexible fitting me in for lessons at short notice if I felt like I needed some extra tuition.

I am glad I chose to learn with Crossroads School of Motoring as my instructor gave me the confidence and skills to pass my test."
